Chief Executive Officer

Wesley Brown

Wesley Brown, Chief Executive Officer, brings over 30 years of leadership experience across systems engineering, program management, cybersecurity, and strategic advisory roles. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a communications specialist and has dedicated his post-military career to delivering impactful solutions within complex, high-stakes government environments.

Throughout his career, Wes has played a pivotal role in the successful execution of major federal initiatives with budgets in the hundreds of millions of dollars. His portfolio includes key contributions to the Defense Health Agency’s Desktop to Datacenter (D2D) and MHS GENESIS electronic health record rollout, the Navy Medicine Clinical Infrastructure and Clinical Desktop programs, the U.S. Navy’s Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), and critical cybersecurity efforts within the Navy’s Computer Network Defense program.

Wes is recognized for his mission-focused approach, aligning technical innovation with organizational goals to deliver sustainable, long-term value. His leadership emphasizes adaptability, cultural alignment, and measurable outcomes for clients operating in complex environments.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Master of Science in Information Assurance from Norwich University, along with numerous industry certifications spanning SAFe, PMI, ISC², SANS, NSA, and DAWIA.

Chief Operating Officer

Nicole Chambless

Nicole is an accomplished program manager and strategic thinker with the proven ability to direct and execute complex tasks. Nicole’s primary experience is in the IT space, with much of her time since 2017 spent helping manage the Defense Health Agency’s multi-phase Desktop to Datacenter program, which upgraded and standardized the computing equipment at all 150+ military hospitals and clinics to a secure, common baseline. Nicole was involved in nearly every aspect of the program, including leading on-site engineering teams, staffing and scheduling, resource forecasting, and communication with senior site and agency leadership. She then supported MHS GENESIS Go-Live, which upgraded the Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems at all military hospitals worldwide. She also launched the FinOps Cost Optimization Program for the Department of Veterans Affairs, which increased cost savings in the cloud environment. Lastly, in addition to her role as COO, Nicole actively supports the IT teams aboard the USNS Mercy and USNS Comfort.

Nicole holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from High Point University, has earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and currently pursuing an MBA in IT Management.

Chief Strategy Officer

Doug Jimenez

Sōl Firm is excited to announce that Doug Jimenez has joined Sōl as our new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Doug brings with him over 35 years of experience, with a strong focus on Cyber and Information Assurance (IA) engineering management. The majority of his distinguished career has been dedicated to supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC) and Defense Health Agency (DHA), where he played a pivotal role in advancing mission-critical initiatives.

In his role at Sōl, Doug will be responsible for guiding the implementation of the company's long-term strategic goals and identifying key growth opportunities to drive sustainable success. His deep industry knowledge and leadership experience make him a valuable addition to our executive team. Welcome aboard, Doug!

Chief Technology Officer

John Robbs

Sōl Firm is proud to announce the appointment of John Robbs as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). John has over 35 years of experience in emerging technologies, enterprise architecture, and strategic planning. His career has been dedicated to supporting the defense healthcare mission, including significant contributions to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Military Health System (MHS), and Defense Health Agency (DHA).

Most notably, John's leadership in the MHS GENESIS Electronic Health Record (EHR) transition was a milestone effort in modernizing military healthcare systems. As CTO, John will lead Sol's technology strategy and vision, ensuring technological excellence, optimizing team performance, and cultivating strong partnerships grounded in trust and measurable impact.
